Nikolaos Makris MD, M.Sc.

He has extensive experience in the entire spectrum of clinical dermatology and venereology, having examined over 15,000 cases to date. Together with leading dermatologists Prof. Yazdi, Prof. Megahed, Prof. von den Driesch, Prof. von Felbert, he managed to practice his favorite medical specialty at the highest level. He also has extensive experience in the field of Dermatology with hundreds of small, medium and large dermatological surgeries to his credit. Over 1200 surgeries including removals of benign and malignant skin tumors (melanomas, basal cell/squamous cell carcinomas, cysts, lipomas),
hidradenitis suppurativa, coccygeal cyst, skin flaps, skin grafts, nail surgery.

He has extensive experience in the field of Dermato-Oncology, participating on a weekly basis for five years in the oncology councils of the hospitals where he worked, while presenting his work in authoritative dermatological journals and conferences.  on the melanoma  and in skin lymphomas.

He has been trained in the field of aesthetic dermatology with emphasis on the use of mesotherapy techniques, botulinum toxin (Botox, DYSPORT), hyaluronic acid and thread lift placement. He holds a diploma after examinations in the safe use of Lasers in Medicine. He is a member of the Hellenic Dermatological and Venereological Society (EDAE), the Hellenic Dermatological Surgical Society and the European Dermatological and Venereological Society.

At the same time, he demonstrated particular zeal in his continuous active participation in foreign and Greek dermatological conferences and workshops in the form of oral presentations and speeches, as well as by writing papers in recognized foreign-language and Greek dermatological journals.
